Debates like this are a fundamental tool for our democracy. They're a chance for voters to learn candidates' positions firsthand and to see the contrast between us side-by-side.

That's why it's so critical for you to join me tomorrow as I set the record straight and combat the Alek Skarlatos con game by telling the truth about the differences between my record and Alek's:

I've fought to protect and expand access to reproductive healthcare.

Alek cheered on the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade and wants to defund Planned Parenthood.

I raised Oregon's minimum wage to put more money in the pockets of working Oregonians.

Alek Skarlatos does not believe in the existence of a minimum wage.

I worked to move Oregon off of coal power and bring down our carbon emissions to combat the climate crisis.

Alek thinks that human-caused climate change is "up for debate."
