This past year Republicans have made strides in restoring common sense law and order in the Commonwealth. We at the Republican Party of Virginia want to highlight the fantastic work our Delegates and Senators in the General Assembly were able to accomplish this past session.

Today we highlight Senator Jill Holtzman Vogel from Northern Virginia. This past Legislative Session, Delegate Vogel sponsored SB467 ( [link removed] ) which requires local law enforcement to “establish training standards for law-enforcement personnel regarding the recognition, prevention, and reporting of human trafficking.”

The United States Department of State estimates that over 14,000 individuals are trafficked through the U.S. per year. Thanks to Senator Vogel, our men and women in uniform will be better equipped to recognize and act to prevent this tragic crime.
