We are 32 days away from the midterm elections. Soon, voters across the country will go to the polls to decide who will represent them in their communities. While money is being spent in massive amounts to turn out all kinds of voters, we know that one group of people continues to be overlooked: LGBTQ+ and pro-equality voters.

Because LGBTQ+ and pro-equality voters are a critical but often neglected part of progressive political strategy, Equality Federation is building a national hub to accelerate state and district-level civic and political engagement of LGBTQ+ people and our supporters in the 2022 electoral cycle. By mobilizing pro-equality voters, we have the opportunity to flip seats, hold anti-LGBTQ+ officials accountable, and shift the balance of power. That’s why we are distributing $153,500 to 20 state partners to support their civic engagement efforts before November.
