Media Matters compared key U.S. Senate election primetime coverage among the three main cable news networks; Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC. They found that Fox News mentioned key Senate races nearly twice as often as CNN and MSNBC combined. Of course their coverage is one-sided as they blast their audience with attacks on the Democrats and shovel praise on the Republicans.

The problem is that right-wing media, like Fox News, dwarfs progressive outlets, with a huge reach and influence over the American electorate. Fox News has been the highest-rated cable news outlet for years. Republicans just need to flip one single seat to take control of the Senate and Fox News is doing their best to deliver at least one Republican win.
