Hey friends – since I was first elected to Congress, I’ve seen many of my Republican colleagues try over and over to sabotage Social Security.

Let me be clear: I’ll always stand up for Connecticut’s seniors. That means opposing any attempts to privatize and defund one of our country’s most important safety nets.

The last thing our seniors need is a gutted, privatized Social Security program that harms one of our country’s most vulnerable populations. We need a long-term stability plan for Social Security.

The best way to stop the GOP’s privatization scheme is to reject it at the ballot box. We do that by protecting and expanding our Democratic majorities, and sending a message to Republicans that their “plan” for Social Security is no plan at all.

Since day one in Congress, I’ve fought to preserve Social Security. Will you chip in $25 to help ensure I can continue advocating for Connecticut’s seniors?
