Hi John!
As we face a multitude of crises in Europe, sometimes it seems difficult to stay optimistic. But there are many reasons to maintain our hope and struggle for a more just and sustainable future!
Like the great success of Progresīvie, our Latvian member party that celebrated a great election result last weekend.
Or the historic moment when Greens from all over Europe were celebrating the first EuroPride in southeast Europe with the LGBTI community.
Or the strength and courage of the women in Iran who are protesting for equal rights.
All this give us hope to continue our fight for a greener Europe!
Your EGP team!

Italy: Bitter sweet election results for Europe Verde
|
That the post-fascist Fratelli d’Italia received the most votes in the Italian general election is extremely worrying for Italy and for Europe. On the brighter side of the elections, the Italian Greens will be represented in the parliament for the first time since 2006. They will keep up the fight against the far-right in favour of Green, democratic and European values.

Europe, stop paying for pushbacks!
If you flee from war or persecution, you have the right to request asylum in the European Union. However tens of thousands asylum seekers have been brutally pushed back at Europe’s borders in the past years. Sometimes even with the help of Europe’s border agency Frontex. This has to stop. No EU money should fund these extreme human rights violations at our borders. Sign our petition.
