John — we are witnessing the most aggressive push to restrict voting access since Reconstruction , with at least 18 states passing 34 laws making it harder for voters — especially Black, brown, rural and low-income voters — to cast their ballots.

From limiting access to voting by mail, closing down drop boxes, and ramping up Voter ID requirements — this is Jim Crow 2.0. And, despite these blatant attacks federal lawmakers have failed to take action .

But we are determined. We refuse to give up.

Because we have seen time and time again in our work that when women of color turnout, we build a better world .

That’s why our team is going all out registering thousands of women of color voters, helping them find their polling place, and making a plan to get to the polls, to ensure no one and nothing stops them exercising their right to vote.

John, will you support our fight against Jim Crow 2.0 by making a $15 donation today to ensure everyone's voice is heard because elections are where WE ALL CHOOSE, not just the few?

Recent research tells us that beliefs long associated with a fringe of White nationalists and conspiracy theorists are now widely accepted and are directly tied to the efforts to restrict voting access — directly threatening the ability of Black and brown voters to have their voices heard.

In addition to trying to restrict access to voting, lawmakers in 27 states have also introduced at least 148 election interference bills in 2022 to try and open the door to partisan interference in elections or threaten the people and processes that make elections work.

This is more than scary. The stakes have never been higher and we must take the necessary steps NOW to avoid sliding into fully fledged authoritarianism.

Through our work over the past 15 years to organize and fight for the rights of more than 2.2 million domestic workers, the majority of whom are women of color and immigrants, we’ve built the team, the track-record, and the tenacity to register thousands of new voters and get thousands of voters to the polls and ensure they know how to make their votes count, but it’s a huge lift and we can’t do it without you.

John, can you donate $15 today to help us ensure every voter’s voice is heard in 2022?

At the same time, we are forced to sit back and watch as those elected to serve enact legislation after legislation that actively suppresses our vote, forcing our communities to the margins, and attacks our election processes .

At NDWA, we have what it takes to change the trajectory and we know, with your support, we can do it because a democracy that works for everyone requires that all eligible voters are allowed to participate in the process.
