I’m coming to you directly to ask you to chip in $7 or more to the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee today. But first, let me explain why it’s so critically important that you chip in to help elect state Democrats today:

The past few years of right-wing election denial and extremism have left me more concerned than I’ve ever been about the state of our democracy. The GOP has figured out how to maximize their influence by investing in state legislative offices that have tremendous authority over our elections and our basic rights. And I’m afraid that they’ve been able to increase their influence in part because too many of us have lost sight of those same state races that shape our day-to-day lives and liberties.

But not my friends at the DLCC – they’re the sole organization dedicated to electing Democrats to state legislatures across the country – and they're working day in and day out to reverse MAGA Republicans' grip on our statehouses. But with just 33 days left until the midterm elections, they’ve been outraised by state Republicans – so they need your help today to build a movement strong enough to win majorities, protect our rights, and promote Democratic values everywhere.

I’m asking you to please give $7 or more today to help elect Democrats to state legislatures this November and beyond – and help keep insurrectionists, election deniers, and other far-right extremists out of our statehouses.

Trump Republicans cannot be trusted with power – period. We have to use our voices – and votes – to stand up to the injustices we are seeing from the right. And we have to support state Democrats who are pro-democracy, pro-choice, and pro-voter.

We’re running out of time until Election Day, but it isn’t too late to make a difference. From defeating insurrectionists and election deniers running for office to protecting everyone’s ability to make their voice heard in our democracy, there’s a long road ahead for Democrats – but with your support, I’m confident we can get it done.
