Dear Neighbor,
Each year, I have the privilege of nominating hard-working, determined TX-07 high school students for admission to our military service academies. Many of them have gone on to serve our country with honor by attending and committing to at least five years of military service.
On October 15, I will host a Military Service Academy Fair to help students learn more about the academies and the nomination process, with representatives from the following academies:
- U.S. Air Force Academy
- U.S. Naval Academy
- U.S. Military Academy West Point
- U.S. Merchant Marine Academy
- U.S. Coast Guard Academy
Students who are interested in applying this year or in the near future are invited to attend and take advantage of this opportunity on Saturday, October 15, from 10:30AM-12:30PM at Lamar High School in the Grand Hall.
