John, my opponent paid Gab — the fringe social media platform that empowered the Tree of Life killer to spread antisemitic, white nationalist rhetoric before murdering 11 Jewish people in Pittsburgh.

Now, we just learned that Gab’s CEO Andrew Torba also donated hundreds of dollars to Mastriano’s campaign. Torba isn’t your usual CEO, and Gab isn’t just another social media site – it’s a haven for neo-Nazis, Holocaust deniers, and prominent far-right actors.

Let that sink in for a minute.

In the last few years, violent extremists have received encouragement and support from their followers on Gab. In 2018, the killer that attacked the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh spent the days leading up to this tragic event posting on Gab. Other social media sites would have moderated such content to prevent the spread of violence and hate, but Gab left it there for all to see.

The fact that Doug Mastriano even has a Gab account and got special treatment from them is enough to cause alarm – but let’s be clear about who these people are.

They are part of the same website that empowered the Tree of Life killer — and they’re now on the side of Doug Mastriano.

Pennsylvania was founded on the idea of tolerance and loving our neighbors, not spreading vitriol and violence. It's clear that Doug Mastriano has lost sight of that.

John – I need your help in stopping Doug Mastriano’s campaign of hate and fear from gaining any ground in this election. Will you chip in to help me get my message out today? [[link removed]]

Thanks for always being in my corner and remember: there’s nothing we can’t do if we do it together .
