While children in many parts of the world are sitting by a warm fire and opening presents with their families, there are boys and girls in war-torn places like Syria who are struggling to survive a bitter cold winter in a refugee camp. The winter conditions add to the hardships they are already facing as violence continues around them.
Children, like Adbullah, pictured here, benefit from toys that help them learn, play and grow. And thanks to a generous donor, the IRC is grateful to be able to provide them in safe spaces within camps.
