We wanted to make sure to fill you in on some of Mike's recent legislative activities. It's been a productive few weeks delivering for the 49th.

>> Late last month, the House passed Mike's Supporting Families of the Fallen Act. This bill increases the maximum coverage amount available for life insurance programs for military families. This will be the 19th bipartisan bill for veterans and servicemembers that Mike has been the lead on that have been signed into law!

>> Last week, Mike introduced the bipartisan Prevent Family Fire Act alongside Rep. Rodney Davis of Illinois. This bill will reduce gun violence -- particularly suicide and accidental shootings -- by providing a tax credit to incentivize the sale of safe storage devices for firearms.

>> Yesterday, Mike held a press conference announcing $27.3 million in federal funding to replace the San Luis Rey River Bridge in Oceanside. These funds were allocated as part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that Mike helped pass.

We're in the midst of a competitive race, but that's not stopping Mike from passing legislation to improve lives in CA-49. That’s one reason why it’s critical we re-elect Mike in November.
