Over the past ten years, our community has consistently put country over party and done the hard work to fight corruption and fix our broken government city-by-city, state-by-state — and we won. 

Many of our most important democracy victories have come through ballot initiatives, where the people have a direct say in how elections are run.  

Now power-hungry politicians are pushing through a slew of attacks on the ballot initiative process — and one massive Supreme Court case — that could consolidate power in the hands of a few.

This is an important moment for democracy. Between the state attacks on ballot initiatives and the case the Supreme Court has agreed to hear, we could very well wake up a year from now with voters losing the right to pass pro-voter laws at the ballot.

Over 2,000 RepresentUs supporters have already signed our open letter to the Supreme Court asking them to stand up to the corrupt politicians trying to silence voters. We're organizing people from across the political spectrum in a letter-to-the-editor campaign to make sure our voices are heard in the court of public opinion. And of course, we’re tirelessly working to pass reforms on the state and local-level alongside our local partners.
