Big news!
Washington state will receive over half a billion dollars following a six-month-long lawsuit against three Fortune 15 drug companies.
Bob rejected a national deal and took opioid distributors McKesson Corporation, Cardinal Health, and AmerisourceBergen to court. As a result, Washington is receiving significantly more money — thanks to Bob’s decision to take them to court.
These dollars will go directly toward repairing the harms of the opioid epidemic. Starting December 1st, these resources will expand treatment options, increase youth-focused prevention programs and other evidence-based treatment options to combat this epidemic.
This is the largest opioid recovery to date. But this fight is far from over.
