Come join us and our ARMN partners in planting over forty native shrubs and trees at Upton Hill Park (6060 Wilson Blvd., Arlington) on Saturday Oct 8 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. The ongoing park transformation results from the work of many volunteers who cleared out invasive plants for over two years to make way for native species, and from your donations, which ASNV contributed as a grant to buy the plants. Please come, bring your friends, and help us celebrate this amazing milestone.

This event is for volunteers ages 9 to adult. Participation may be limited, so registration is requested on the Signup Genius site ([link removed]) . All volunteers will be asked to complete a Volunteer Information and Personal Data sheet before participating. Volunteers under 18 years old require a parent/guardian signature. The forms are available on Signup Genius ([link removed]) .

Meet in the main parking lot and please bring your own tools if you have them and a filled reusable water bottle. Wearing weather-appropriate clothing is advised as is dressing for poison ivy (long pants and long sleeves).
