Congress is considering allowing oil and gas executives to build a huge new network of pipelines using eminent domain to take property. Write your representative to demand they oppose the carbon capture scam and protect people's homes.

The carbon capture scam is a mix of failed, unproven, and sometimes made-up technologies fossil fuel executives claim will magically tackle climate change by sucking up carbon emissions. All they want in exchange? To build dangerous pipelines under our feet in communities and neighborhoods across the country.

In Iowa, fossil fuel corporations are using eminent domain to steal land from families to build new carbon pipelines. That’s just the start. These leaky, explosive pipelines spew pollution into our air and water. Dangerous carbon pipelines have no place near our homes.

We know industry executives will steal and bulldoze over people’s property if we give them a chance. Don’t let Congress fall for this carbon capture scam and build new pipelines.

Oil and gas executives' latest lie is that CCS will address climate change. But the truth is, they’re using that scam to get the green light to build more leaky pipelines and more dangerous infrastructure in communities across the country.

We can’t allow the fossil fuel industry to tighten its stranglehold on our communities by letting them build dangerous carbon pipelines near our homes and neighborhoods.
