Leora Levy Lambasts Biden Decision to Beg Saudi Arabia for Increased Oil Production

GREENWICH, CT – Today, OPEC announced it will be cutting oil production by 2 million barrels a day. This move comes days after Biden begged Saudi Arabia to increase production while refusing to unleash American energy independence. Meanwhile, the Fed recently increased interest rates by 0.75% for a third time, gas prices have jumped by as much as 60 cents in some areas of the country, and the Northeast faces a home heating oil shortage and skyrocketing energy bills.

Lambasting the Biden Administration’s decision to beg foreign states to increase their oil production instead of promoting the American energy sector, political outsider and U.S. Senate candidate Leora Levy issued a response.

“Rising energy prices are a direct result of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ out-of-touch and radical agenda. They ended drilling leases, stopped American energy production in its tracks, and now American families are paying the price. Unfortunately for Connecticut, who already suffers from the nation’s highest electricity costs, our prices are about to go up even more during the winter months. Life is unaffordable and people want change. Career politicians live in their DC bubbles and beg foreign states to bail us out, but the time is now to vote for new leadership and change the direction of both our economy and country.”

About Leora

I am running to take on the far-left whose policies will make our country look more like the Communist Cuba my family and I escaped in 1960 than the United States we have all known and loved. I am running for Senate to lead the fight for freedom. Joe Biden isn't on the ballot in November, but his policies are. The way to beat back Biden is to beat Dick Blumenthal, and I am the political outsider who can get it done.
