Friend, the stakes are high and Rand Paul and his Republican allies will stop at nothing to defeat us.
That’s why I wasn’t surprised when, instead of showing up to a debate with me, my opponent released a false attack ad lying about me and my views.
Rand Paul’s latest ad is desperate, ridiculous, wholly offensive, and unacceptable.
Here are the facts:
- Neither I nor my campaign, have ever endorsed violence against any political candidate.
- Rand Paul and his supporters instigated, participated in, and defended a deadly insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
- When you know you can't win on the issues, you resort to fear-mongering.
Rand Paul should retract his video, apologize for his dangerous and dishonest rhetoric, and leave me out of spats with his neighbor.
If all Rand Paul has to offer are racially-charged dog whistles, then he has nothing – which is exactly what he’s done for Kentucky.
Rand has spent millions of dollars trying to discredit me and my vision for our commonwealth. We cannot combat these lies and false promises he continues to spew without your help.
