For over 30 years, Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation (TPWF) has been wildly passionate about supporting Texas? wild things and wild places, and so have millions of adventurers who visit our state parks each year.
After all, it?s an exciting time to explore Texas! Dinosaur prints at the bottom of Paluxy River. A rare sighting of the snail kite raptor at Lake Somerville State Park. You never know what stunning new find is waiting to be unearthed ? even along well-worn paths. And that doesn?t even include the new paths on the horizon thanks to support from TPWF members [ [link removed] ]. As we speak, we?re blazing roads and trails for what will soon become the picturesque Palo Pinto Mountains State Park, Texas? first new state park in North Texas in 25 years!??
