Hi there. It's Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Alexander Vindman.

When I think about the most extreme and corrupt members of the U.S. Senate, the first person that comes to mind is Ron Johnson.

Just yesterday, he claimed that calling what happened on January 6th an armed insurrection is "not accurate." Yet he also admitted that "some of the protestors did teach us all how you can use flag poles...as weapons."

Let's state the truth:

We all saw the violent mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol that day. We saw the horrendous attacks on our democracy and the attempts to overturn the 2020 election results.

Ron Johnson personally contributed to the distrust, the conspiracy theories, and the unrest that led to the January 6th attack. And there is also evidence that Ron Johnson participated in a scheme to try to rig the 2020 election for Trump.

In November, we have the chance to hold Ron Johnson accountable. And that means we must elect Mandela Barnes to replace him in the Senate.

So today, I am sincerely asking:

I am so tired of the lies and misinformation that have come from far-right extremists, and Ron Johnson is among the worst offenders. There is no sitting U.S. Senator who has contributed more to the prolific spread of misinformation than Ron Johnson.

That is why I have endorsed Mandela Barnes for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin in a race that will determine whether Democrats defend their majority in the Senate. But right now, Mandela is trailing Ron Johnson in the polls and needs your help.

The U.S. Senate race in Wisconsin is one of the most competitive and closely-watched races in the whole country ahead of the November midterm elections. It is also a critical opportunity to replace a far-right extremist who poses a threat to the future of our democracy.
