As you might know, my good friend and fellow Illinoisan Tammy Duckworth is up for re-election in less than 5 weeks. I’m asking for your help to re-elect Sen. Duckworth, but first, let me explain why:

Over the course of the pandemic, I’ve worked hand in hand with Tammy to deliver for working families and communities across Illinois.

She’s been a key ally in the fight to bolster child care programs, deliver federal funding to Illinois, strengthen our state’s infrastructure, support small businesses, and much more.

But Mitch McConnell’s GOP has a different vision for Illinois and the United States and they’re promising to dismantle all of our progress if we give them the opportunity.

With only one seat standing between us and a Republican majority in the Senate, we can’t take any election for granted.

Tammy is a partner I can’t afford to lose, John. Will you split $5 now to help us continue fighting for Illinois in Washington, D.C.?

She and I share a simple philosophy when it comes to public service: we champion the issues that make life easier and better for everyone.

And we know there’s more to do in 2022 and beyond. But with Senate Republicans promising to take us in the wrong direction by federally banning abortions, hiking taxes, and cutting funding to vital programs like Social Security and Medicare, we need to win this re-election.
