Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!
Since our last Madison Liberty update, our Spark Freedom project hosted a successful Capitalism vs. Socialism debate and is now busy preparing for a new student group to start in January. We were also able to help collect and gather toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots this holiday season. And lastly, our team is preparing for Idaho's 2020 Legislative Session that starts next month on January 6, 2020!
With Christmas tomorrow, it is easy to get caught up in the lights, presents, and long lines that we easily forget what is important - the special memories we are making with our families. Traditions we share with those close to us. The opportunity we have to make others' lives better by lifting those around us with gratitude, kindness, and service. And most of all, our "Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace" and Savior, Jesus Christ who makes this Christmas season possible. We are so overwhelmed with gratitude that "God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son..." and that we have the opportunity to share his love for others this Christmas season.
Merry Christmas and happy holidays from the Madison Liberty family! May God bless you and your loved ones this special season and in the year ahead.

Toys for Tots
What a fun experience it has been for our Madison Liberty team to give back to the community by participating in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots! We were able to help collect enough toys and stuffed animals to fill three(+) Toys for Tots toy bins!
We sincerely appreciate everyone's help and support in making this toy drive a success.

Liberty Resource: Idaho State Constitution
We often ask folks, when's the last time you read the U.S. Constitution? How about Idaho's Constitution? In preparation for the 2020 Legislative Session, we challenge you to read our state's constitution.
Knowing that the rights of the people would be better preserved, our founder's felt it was important that each sovereign state had a written constitution. Idaho's state constitution says that "All men are by nature free and equal, and have certain inalienable rights, among which are enjoying and defending life and liberty; acquiring, possessing and protecting property; pursuing happiness and securing safety." Our state constitution guarantees the protection of our unalienable rights and recognizes that each individual in our state is equal and free. As Idahoans, we encourage you not only to be familiar with the U.S. Constitution but also the Idaho Constitution.
