I’m going to talk to Kamala in a few hours --

She’s been out on the campaign trail meeting with voters and preparing for
the debate this week, and I know she is going to ask how our fundraising
is looking.

I want to tell her that I think we’re going to hit our grassroots
fundraising goal before she takes the stage. I really do. But our
projections have us falling short of where we need to be -- and that’s
alarming.

This isn’t the first time we’ve been in this position, and we’ve always
been able to catch up thanks to supporters like you. So instead, I want to
tell Kamala that I believe we’re going to hit the goal because of our
grassroots team giving whatever they can to get us back on track.
