From the Frontlines of the Leuser Ecosystem to the Corporate Boardrooms: Rainforest Action Network’s Unique Approach
Our October grantee Rainforest Action Network (RAN) preserves forests, protects the climate and upholds human rights by challenging corporate power and systemic injustice through frontline partnerships and strategic campaigns.
Funding from CREDO members this month will help RAN follow the money between rainforest destruction and human rights abuses and the huge global corporations that are ultimately driving them, then exert public and inside pressure on corporations, banks and other institutions to stop environmentally destructive practices. The organization is a long-time CREDO ally, and our members have helped us donate $1,456,747 since 1988 to fund RAN's critical programs to protect our environment.
