John,

The first Maine gubernatorial debate just wrapped up and one big takeaway is clear: Paul LePage has no place in Maine politics.

He kicked off the night by doubling down on the same failed policies he proposed in his first term. Then, he wasted no time in saying he would gut our public schools and fire thousands of hard-working state employees and public servants. And this was only the very beginning.

LePage has no place in politics. Help us keep him out. We still need 19 more contributions before midnight tonight to hit our first debate goal. Will you chip in? [[link removed]]

LePage’s rants and raves didn’t stop there. When pressed to give his opinion on abortion access in Maine, he claimed “I don’t understand the question.” He also used his time on stage tonight to attack our teachers and accuse them of indoctrination — a classic GOP culture war.

Gov. Mills has done more than just clean up Paul LePage’s mess. Due to her hard work, Maine has been nationally-recognized for our pandemic recovery. She stood up for LGBTQ+ rights, protected abortion access, expanded health care, and finally met the state’s obligation for fund 55 percent of public education.

Gov. Mills is making Maine a better place for all of us. Paul LePage wants to make Maine better for Paul LePage.

Help us keep building a better Maine for everyone. Pitch in now. [[link removed]]
