I want to start by thanking you for your support the past four years and throughout this campaign. WIth your help, we have been able to travel the state and reach voters in every corner to talk about the work we are getting done in the treasury. 

Everywhere I go, I talk about the Treasury and the responsibilities of the Treasurer. First and foremost, the Treasurer is responsible for protecting taxpayer dollars and ensuring they are invested safely, transparently, and in  a way that benefits all Coloradans. 

That is exactly what I have done these past four years, including throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and economic downturn. It is what I will do again in my second term.

We are in the final month of the campaign, and it will take all of us to ensure Colorado stays on track. Join the campaign today and read more about the work we have done and plan to do going forward. 

We have accomplished a lot in four years, including: 

• Implementing the Colorado Secure Savings Program to help one million private sector workers save for a dignified and sustainable retirement while saving taxpayers up to $18 billion over the next 15 years
  
• Improving PERA’s sustainability and achieving portfolio return of nearly $20 billion in 2019 and 2020 alone
  
• Returning over $143 million in unclaimed property back to almost 90,000 Coloradans after clearing the backlog of claims, simplifying the claims process, and launching a program that proactively returns funds
  
• Helped local businesses recover from the pandemic by launching the $250 million CLIMBER small business loan program
• Financing $645 million to the Building Excellent Schools Today (BEST) program, which awards grants to K-12 schools to support our students while stimulating local economies
  
• Financing $1.7 billion for transportation system improvements
