Friend, This is a once-in-a-generation election year. Polling shows that the national red wave forecasted for November has a strong chance of reaching Massachusetts, and we have a slate candidates that are worthy of your attention. Radical progressives, even here in Massachusetts, have gone too far. They’ve alienated moderate Democrats and have begun their takeover on Beacon Hill. One need look no further than the incredible response we received during our signature drive to put the far-left law rewarding illegal immigrants with driver’s licenses before voters in the form of a referendum question. But our candidates need the resources to succeed. Donations are the engine that drives campaigns forward. Below are three state Senate candidates we'd like to single out today as deserving of our support. Candidate: Michael Chaisson, Republican for Bristol-Norfolk (Foxborough). Michael ran a successful sticker campaign ahead of the Republican primary to earn himself a position on the ballot in November. In 2017, Michael formed his own construction company. According to Michael, “through hard work and determination, that chance paid off, this success has allowed me to be a proud resident and homeowner in Foxborough.” Learn more about Michael: [link removed] Donate to Michael’s campaign: [link removed] Checks can be made out to the Committee to Elect Michael Chaisson and mailed to the Massachusetts Republican Party, 400 West Cummings Park, Suite 5650, Woburn, MA 01801. Candidate: Sal DeFranco, Republican for Second Essex and Middlesex (Haverhill). Sal is a former United States Navy SEAL and a successful entrepreneur, having founded Battle Grounds Coffee, a popular Merrimack Valley business, with his wife, Dana. Sal will be a breath of fresh air on Beacon Hill, and his extraordinary leadership skills will serve his district well. Sal is a proud veteran and overcame debilitating injuries suffered during a hit-and-run incident, including a 30-day coma. The Second Essex and Middlesex Senate district was reconfigured following the 2020 census and no longer includes Lawrence. Candidate: Bill Johnson, Republican for Hampden, Hampshire, and Worcester (Granby). Bill has served on the Granby Board of Selectmen for 15 years, and now he's running for state Senate in a very winnable district. He is a small business owner, having successfully run a trucking and towing business for more than 30 years that now employs over 70 workers. Bill is committed to supporting workers and policies that lead to bringing more jobs and more manufacturing businesses back to Massachusetts. We cannot allow this opportunity to elect people down-ballot pass through our fingers. The power in Massachusetts policymaking rests with the Legislature, and adding to our ranks on Beacon Hill is now more important than ever. We are proud to support these candidates, and we know you will be as well.
