John,
Today is Alaska's first U.S. Senate debate of this year!
Senator Lisa Murkowski is headed to Kodiak, Alaska for the Fish Debate – a debate that has played an instrumental part in our state's politics for over 30 years. The fishing industry is Alaska's largest private employer, therefore very important to the people of Alaska.
Sadly, Lisa's opponent, Kelly Tshibaka, has decided to skip the first debate of the campaign due to a "scheduling conflict".
Her scheduling conflict?
Kelly spent the weekend at an NFL game and is currently at an out-of-state VIP fundraiser.
Alaska deserves a Senator that is willing to show up and answer tough questions. Alaska deserves a Senator who represents all of our communities. |
