Dr. Kermit Jones After 9/11, Dr. Kermit Jones joined the Navy and served in Iraq as a combat surgeon. When he came home, Kermit was chosen by President Obama to help improve health care for veterans before returning to California to work as a doctor. Both personally and as a physician, he has seen firsthand the challenges of our healthcare system, and is running for Congress to help lower the costs of healthcare and prescription drugs. He’s running against an extremist who is standing with militia groups calling for a civil war in our country. |

Christy Smith Christy Smith is running in Santa Clarita, CA against a Republican incumbent who she nearly defeated in 2020. As a former state legislator, Christy introduced bills focused on homeowner protections and college affordability for Californians. Now, she’s running for Congress to help protect the right to an abortion and strengethen our economy for working people. |
