John, we wanted to be sure you saw this.

Mike France, Joe’s extreme right-wing opponent, committed to voting yes on Lindsey Graham and Washington Republicans’ plan to pass a national abortion ban, which would repeal the Connecticut state laws protecting abortion access that Joe worked hard to pass during his time in the Connecticut State House.

We’ve already seen the disastrous outcomes of statewide abortion bans, including women being pushed to the brink of death before doctors can intervene, rape victims forced to travel across state lines for healthcare, and chronically ill patients being denied life-saving prescriptions. Mike France wants to bring those same tragedies to Connecticut.

Eastern Connecticut deserves better.

Mike France is being clear: A vote for him is a vote for Lindsey Graham’s national abortion ban. We need your help to defeat him and to show National Republicans that the radical right isn’t welcome in eastern Connecticut.
