Dear Friend,

Forgive me for yet another email, but I feel so passionate about this work and want you to know what a difference you make. My colleagues are getting ready to spend much-deserved time with family and friends. They work so hard, fighting for kids who are here on their own, and those who’ve been taken from their families. They meet the kids for the first time when they’re in custody. They accompany them to immigration court. They argue, cajole and often achieve the impossible: a girl reunified with her mother; a boy released to his grandmother; a teen mom released the day before she turned 18 when she would have been sent to adult detention, her baby remaining in government custody.

You make this work possible. Thank you so much for your support.

Wishing you a happy holiday.

The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights works with the most vulnerable unaccompanied and separated immigrant children in federal custody so that their voices are heard and their best interests are protected. We also advocate for an immigration system that treats children as children. Click here to donate and support our work.
