John, as community organizers, legislators, and leaders, we’re daring to dream of a better world.
A world where everybody has healthcare. A world where we don’t have to fear gun violence in our communities. A world where everyone has the resources to not just survive, but thrive. That message is why we won in the primary, especially during such a hard year for Floridians.
In spite of our horrible governor scapegoating the most vulnerable communities for his failures, and the rise of racism, anti-semitism, and white supremacy happening in Florida, we won by organizing, spreading our message, and knocking on every single door.
We proved that organizing wins elections, but there’s still a lot more work to be done.
That’s why we’re helping support 12 down ballot candidates in Central Florida by organizing, knocking doors, and turning Democratic voters out to the polls.
When you donate to our campaign now, it’s about more than just me. We’re going to be working everyday to win Florida and get effective, morally just leaders elected up and down the ballot from school board to city council.
This is about building power in the south and in our state because for so many of us, Florida is home, and we refuse to give up on it.
And right now, a lot of donors are giving up and pulling out of Florida, but screw that. We’re going to keep fighting and organizing until Florida flips blue.
It’s going to take all of us coming together to prove that Florida is worth fighting for, so I’m asking you to join in and make a donation to fuel our down ballot organizing efforts. Can I count on your support? >>
In community,
Maxwell
