Yesterday, we learned that anti-choice candidate Herschel Walker – the Republican running against Raphael Warnock for Georgia’s Senate seat – encouraged and paid for his girlfriend’s abortion.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll keep saying it:
Republicans’ attempts to restrict access to safe and legal abortion aren’t about Christian values – they’re about control over women.
These same people will turn around and condemn women who seek out reproductive care.
I am here to tell you that
women will not be controlled. Black women, indigenous women, LGBTQ+ women, low-income women, and women with disabilities will not be controlled and forced to give birth.
