U.S. Representative Ted Deutch is one of the leaders that we’ve had the greatest pleasure of working with. He’s shepherded firearm violence prevention packages through Congress and stood by our side as we’ve worked to protect your schools and your communities. He supported our founding families after our loved ones were murdered. Ted also introduced the Eagles Act (H.R 1229) and the Luke and Alex School Safety Act in the House. It was an honor to attend his District send-off party!

Gun safety is as easy as 1, 2, 3! This kid-friendly information is perfect to discuss with your kids. Whether unexpectedly at a friend’s house or in the classroom, your child may encounter a firearm, and it’s crucial that they take the proper steps to ensure their safety and the safety of those around them. Finally, October 1st marks seven years since the tragic Umpqua Community College shooting in Roseburg, Oregon, when a student killed 9 members of the school community and injured 8 more. We’re thinking of the families who lost loved ones on that day and the entire Umpqua community that has been forever changed.
