Hi team,
One thing you should know about me is that I’m a planner: I like to be organized, I like to have a routine, and I like when things go according to plan.
That makes working in political fundraising a challenge — it can be hard to predict fundraising numbers and anticipate what our opponent is going to throw our way.
One way to make sure we stay on track every single week is to count on recurring contributions. These are donations that come at the same time each week through Election Day. When you make a weekly contribution, I can count on reaching our budget for the week, which means we can better plan how much we spend on voter outreach and getting ads up about Pat across our district.
So today, I’m reaching out to see if you can pitch in $5 a week to Pat’s re-election campaign for the final 5 weeks of this election. For the cost of a nice cup of coffee each week, you can help us meet our goals week after week and re-elect Pat this November.
Campaigns are not known for going to plan — especially as we get closer and closer to Election Day. Now that we’re into October, we have to be prepared for anything Republicans try to pull to defeat Pat.
We can prepare for these inevitable attack ads by setting a weekly budget for our own ad campaigns — and it certainly helps to know in advance that we’ll have the funds we need to run these ads.
$5 a week might not seem like much (truth be told, I spend way more than that on coffee every week), but when hundreds of supporters come together to chip in that much each week, it really adds up.
That’s why I’m asking: Can you chip in $5 every week for the final 5 weeks of this election?
Thank you, your continued support means so much. But if you would prefer to make a one-time contribution, we understand! You can make one here.
