John, we know you’re probably busy, so we’ll get right to it. Recent polling from Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight shows that 45 percent of Americans want Democrats to win in November. But 44.1 percent STILL want Republicans to win! Here’s what that means:

The first significant federal legislation on gun safety in 30 years is at risk. Protecting marriage equality for the LGBTQ+ community is at risk. The ongoing attack on abortion rights could escalate to a national ban.  

And it could get worse – because Republicans are still in striking distance of regaining control in November. With the direction of our country at stake, we can’t afford to let that happen. But our first step is confirming these poll results for ourselves.
