Forum Editorial Advisory Board has endorsed Michael Howe to be North Dakota’s next Secretary of State

Michael entered this race to preserve and protect North Dakota’s election integrity. He wants to make North Dakota the easiest place in the country to start a business. “Howe has spent the past six years in the state House of Representatives, where in 2021 he notably sponsored legislation to shield businesses from lawsuits. According to past reporting by Forum News Service, Howe “quickly rose in the Republican ranks to become one of the youngest members on the powerful House Appropriations Committee.” The North Dakota State University graduate manages his family’s seed operation in Casselton.

When he announced his candidacy, he said North Dakota’s “biggest challenges often come from politicians in D.C.” He also believes “North Dakotans should always be in charge of North Dakota’s elections.”
