Dear John,
Did you know ISI has a whole library of free books written by leading professors in their fields?
Our student guides ([link removed]) are easy-to-read introductions to various fields within the liberal arts. The topics and authors of the guides include U.S. History by Wilfred McClay, Philosophy by Ralph McInerny, International Relations by Angelo Codevilla, and many more.
If there’s a topic that captivates you, we probably have a guide to it.
These guides are only 50-80 pages each. You can read one of these student guides in an afternoon and instantly become well-informed about that particular field. They’re also written by sources you can trust. The university system has a liberal bias, and these books will provide you with the information you need to fight back against those biases.
And best of all, they’re FREE ([link removed]) .
One student guide I want to highlight is The Student Guide to Political Philosophy, written by Harvey Mansfield.
Prof. Mansfield has been one of the most extraordinary figures in the conservative movement. He has written award-winning works on Machiavelli, Tocqueville, Burke, and others, but his influence also emerges through the work of his students. Some of the most influential people in American politics—from Francis Fukuyama and Charles Kesler to Andrew Sullivan and Sen. Tom Cotton—have been students of Prof. Mansfield.
Download that student guide ([link removed]) today; I promise it’ll be worth your time.
Prof. Mansfield is not just an ISI student guide author—he’s also receiving ISI’s Charles H. Hoeflich Lifetime Achievement Award at our sixteenth annual Gala for Western Civilization on October 13 ([link removed]) . If you enjoy our student guides and everything ISI offers, I encourage you to register for the Gala. If you’re under 30, tickets are only $50.
It’ll be a fun evening where we celebrate everything ISI embodies.
Tickets for the gala are still available, but they’re going fast. Claim your place today!
