As November approaches and our nation votes on which vision for America they want, as believers in Jesus Christ we need to declare that we will pray, prepare to vote, and stand today for biblical truth that is rooted in God's infallible and unchanging Word.

When believers live according to Scripture and God's purposes for our lives, we cannot quench the power of the Holy Spirit that works through us to help others find stability and meaning in this life. But we must have the courage to live out these values that are rooted in reality and God's design, and exist for our good.

Our culture may distort language, seek to create chaos by rejecting God's established order, and try to silence those who hold to a biblical worldview, but when Christians take a stand for truth, the faulty lies of the darkness will not stand against the infallible Word of God. As believers, we must:

PRAY: For God to equip pastors, raise up godly leaders, and send a spiritual revival across America. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

STAND: For the protection of life, religious liberty, children, marriage, and the family as God designed. (Ephesians 6:13)

The time to act is now. Together we can change hearts and minds and advance pro-life, pro-family, and pro-freedom policies in our nation when we are united and standing upon the truth of God's Word.

Jesus said, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:31-32)

At Family Research Council, we are more concerned about what God says than what the culture says. We will not back down from sharing truth as we work to shape public policy in Washington, D.C. and in state capitols, and advance a biblical worldview in our culture.
