When we took control of Congress, we knew that holding our majority rested on whether we could deliver for the American people. I’m proud of how we’ve delivered, but there’s still more work to be done. With early voting beginning in just over a week, we need all hands on deck to get our message out and protect all the progress our Democratic majority has made.
From the moment we secured our majority, Congressional Democrats have been hard at work for our constituents. But without our democratic majority, we could have never:
–Passed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, investing more into our country’s infrastructure and jobs than ever before in American history.
–Held corporations accountable for paying their fair share in taxes and made historic investments in the fight to combat climate change by passing the Inflation Reduction Act.
–Alleviated the burden of student debt for more 43 million borrowers, taking the largest step toward affordable education in decades.
We fought hard for this progress, and if we stop fighting now, it all could be lost.
The GOP has a radically different agenda, and they’re leaving no race unchallenged for their chance at breaking our majority. Instead of moving forward, they want to take our country back to the dark ages, by passing a restrictive federal abortion ban and making it harder for the American people to cast their vote and make their voices heard.
