The concept of mitzvot has been a core part of my faith since I was a kid in Hebrew school.

Miztvot means “commandments” or “righteous deeds,” and it's more than just an idea – it's an action I try to fulfill each and every day.

Mitzvot is part of why I joined the Navy at 17, though it wasn't exactly a typical career path for girls at my temple. But I was compelled to do something good for my country.

It’s why I decided to make my first run for public office back in 2018, when no one expected that I’d win.

And after our democracy was attacked, I was compelled to do everything in my power to demand justice and ensure that it never happened again. It came with admittedly huge political risk, but mitzvot isn’t about doing what’s easy. It’s about doing what’s right.

That’s exactly why I’m facing the toughest election battle of my career. I’m being attacked with every resource that the far right can muster: $4 million and counting.
