The role of Senior Address Management Officer is a fantastic opportunity for a talented person. The role has responsibility for the Council's statutory Street Naming and Numbering function which requires the management of a caseload, liaising with developers and members of the public. The role also has joint operational responsibility for the management, accuracy and currency of the data held in the Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG) and Local Street Gazetteer (LSG), providing data analysis and extracts, advising on its dissemination and use within the Council and ensuring national data entry conventions and contractual obligations are met.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:*
* High level working awareness , knowledge and understanding of Street Naming and Numbering and relatedlegislation e.g. the Public Health Act 1925 and the ability to keep up to date with new guidance
* Detailed knowledge and understanding of BS7666 and Data Entry Conventions for LLPG and/ or LSG and associated performance levels
* Ability/ experience of working with large volumes of data from various sources, including spatial information
* Ability to undertake detailed work in a precise and accurate manner
* Able to plan and manage own workload and those of others to meetperformance targets and customer expectations
* Ability to speak fluent English
