John, as of today, we have just three more weeks to register voters in the Commonwealth — and we need to make the most of each and every day to make up for this:

Pa. Republicans are gaining on Democrats in registered voters. We look at what that really means. -- The Philadelphia Inquirer

Spoiler alert: It’s not good. Over the last decade, PA Republicans have gained more than half a million voters compared to Democrats, for a relative shift of about 7 points.

That means smaller margins of victory statewide, a potential for county governments to be flipped, and a desperate need for more year-round, consistent voter registration, engagement and mobilization in historically disenfranchised communities across the Commonwealth. This is where the New Pennsylvania Project comes in.

So, John, we’re launching weekly goals to make sure we raise the resources we need to help make up for those losses. Will you chip in $10 today to help us meet our $2,000 goal by the end of the week and get the Commonwealth back on track to be sure our elected officials represent all the people of Pennsylvania and the values we believe in?

-------------------------------------------------------

The New Pennsylvania Project was founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate, so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. In the next four years, NPP will engage and empower young residents and those living in underrepresented immigrant communities and communities of color. We register communities to vote, provide civic education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize Pennsylvanians to vote in every election.
