Good news, folks.

Thanks to the outpouring of support from thousands of grassroots donors in Louisiana and beyond, we closed the gap on our missed fundraising goal and got back on track to defeat Senator John Kennedy next month.

I’m always overwhelmed with gratitude when I see how many people support this campaign. It reminds me why I am in this race and fills me with hope.

And while I’d love to take a break from asking you for money (trust me – I asked my campaign manager already) – but the truth is there’s no room to slow down.

This is it. We’re in the homestretch towards Election Day. So where we used to plan our revenue streams in monthly deadlines, we’re now planning by the week.

Here’s the plan for this week: My team is kicking things off in October with a $40,000 weekly goal. That’s what we calculated we need to keep our voter outreach plans in motion. Can I count on you to chip in a few bucks right now?

We need to reach out to unregistered voters in all 64 parishes in Louisiana. We need to hit voters through digital ads, mail pieces, on the airwaves, and through direct voter contact.

And we need to give hope to those who have lost their trust in Kennedy’s leadership.
