Dear Friends,

Over the last two years, Democrat policies have brought Americans 40-year high inflation, made us dependent on our adversaries for critical resources, and damaged our nation’s security through open-border policies. It's time for a new direction.

My colleagues in the House Republican Conference and I are committed to undoing the Democrat-created crises and putting America back on track. Our "Commitment to America" plan will lead to an economy that is strong, a nation that is safe, a future built on freedom, and a government that is accountable. The Democrats inherited a strong economy but their far-Left spending policies have led to painfully high prices on everyday goods. House Republicans are fighting back to bring relief to hardworking Americans.

Congress Passes Bill to Address Baby Formula Shortage

Last Thursday, Congress passed the Bulk Infant Formula to Retail Shelves Act, a bill I proudly introduced to help boost domestic baby formula production and get more product on shelves amid the continued shortage across the United States. The bill passed the House and Senate with strong bipartisan support.

The passage of this legislation is a huge win for families and will be a powerful tool in addressing the ongoing baby formula shortage. This measure, combined with the Formula Act that Congress approved in July, will help get more safe, affordable formula on store shelves and increase domestic production capacity. We thank our colleagues in the House and Senate for their overwhelming bipartisan support on this measure.

Georgia Named #1 for Business for Unprecedented 9th Year

At the Kia Georgia Training Center in West Point last Wednesday, Governor Kemp announced that Georgia was named the number #1 State for Business for a remarkable 9th year in a row! The Peach State’s conservative leadership, and focus on business and workforce investments has allowed our state to thrive! Our state continues to be a national leader for job creators to start, grow, and sustain their businesses.

Our seniors deserve quality health coverage at a cost they can afford. For many, Medicare Advantage fits that bill. I’m proud to be named a 2022 Medicare Advantage Champion and I will continue to fight to protect and strengthen this important coverage tool in Congress.
