Dear John,
I’m proud of the work I’m doing in Congress for all of you, so I wanted to share some updates:
1. I voted for the Presidential Election Reform Act, which would strengthen the integrity of future presidential elections and uphold the principles of democracy. This bill reaffirms and clarifies the responsibilities of officials to report valid and reliable election results.
2. I supported four bills to help law enforcement and reduce violence by providing resources to recruit and retain officers, improve conflict resolutions, solve cases, and involve mental health professionals in crises.
3. I announced that Camilla Bancshares, Inc. will be receiving $13,708,000 for community investments, such as affordable housing and community development. These funds will help individuals, support local businesses, and enrich our community.
4. I was honored to receive the Friend of Farm Bureau award from the American Farm Bureau Federation. Throughout my years of service, I have strived to ensure that our farmers get the support they need, and I look forward to continuing to work with them.
John, I’ll always stand up for our democracy, our communities, and the hardworking people of Georgia — but I can only continue to do so if re-elected next month. If you’re able, please consider donating to my re-election campaign today.
Sincerely,
Congressman Sanford D. Bishop
