After the success of our first video “THE BALLOT,” my friend and colleague, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and I, are teaming up to take the fight directly to Kevin McCarthy and his MAGA acolytes. You may have noticed, as the election grows nearer, Republicans have once again gone back to their “law & order” script and are trying to attack Democrats as “soft on crime.” Well, if they want to have that fight, we say we lean into it, hard. Kevin McCarthy thinks Democrats are too weak or too scared to engage in this fight. We think we should prove them wrong. We’ve seen in the past what happens when we don’t engage, when we allow the extremists to shape the narrative. That can’t happen anymore. We won’t tolerate it and neither should you.
