After Trump was elected President in 2016, I felt compelled to put my energy into stopping the right wing extremist agenda from harming our environment.
I first got involved as a donor and activist in several of Food & Water Action’s campaigns, including the fight to stop fossil fuel projects in my state of New York and the federal campaign for clean and affordable water. It is exciting when you help with a campaign and then see the legislation get passed or the person gets voted into office. I can say, "I did that!"
Come November 8 it is so important that more climate champions are elected to office and then fight for a livable future for all.
