Hurricane Ian made landfall as a Category 4 hurricane last week, leaving countless animals and people vulnerable in its path, with many reports of downed power lines and severe flooding.

Ahead of the storm, we urgently deployed our teams to help relocate over 50 cats from shelters in Fort Myers and Tampa, Florida. But our response has only just begun.
Our teams are now mobilized, responding to more requests for assistance in the Southeast.

We have teams on the ground with boats and supplies to support animal search-and-rescue operations as we work with shelters across the impacted area to identify critical needs, including local emergency sheltering, pet food distribution, and additional relocation of homeless animals.
