It's difficult to write this knowing the devastation so many families are facing in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. Some of us still don't have power and won't for days -- or possibly weeks. Many of our staff, board, and volunteers, myself included, live on Florida's west coast, and are still navigating the storm's impacts. 

 

But as they say, the show must go on, and I'm grateful to our team across the state for keeping us moving toward the finish line. We have only 36 days until the November election and our candidates are counting on us to help them in these final weeks. We've worked too hard and come too far to stop now.

The health and safety of our communities will always be our top priority, whether that's helping our neighbors during an emergency or fighting so that every Floridian has access to the reproductive health care they need and deserve. There are a lot of urgent needs right now; thank you for coming together so that we can address them all. As we know, multitasking is what women do best.

ENDORSEMENTS

Since the August primary, Ruth's List has endorsed six additional candidates for local office. Dana Goldman, Denise Horland, and Marihelen Wheeler are Ruth's List alumni running for reelection to their seats. Tangi Bates, Paula DeBoles Johnson, and Laura Dominguez are dedicated community leaders who have taken the bold step to run for office for the first time.
